【Windows11】VB6 IDE(開発環境)をインストールする

Windows11にVB6 IDE(開発環境)をインストールしてみました。やり方は、Windows10の時と同じで行けそうです。

VB6 IDE インストール その1

Microsoft Virtual Machine For Javaをインストールしないと「次に」ボタンを押下できないので、しかたなくインストールしました。あとから、を削除することにします。

もしかすると、これを回避する方法はあるのかも。

この段階で、一度Windowsの再起動を要求されます。

VB6 IDE インストール その2

「ADO および RDS」だけ、インストールから外せば、問題なくインストールできます。この辺りは、Windows11に標準で入ってるランタイムがあるので、そっちをつかえば問題なさそうです。

データアクセスを選択して、オプションの変更

ADO、RDSおよびOLE DBプロバイダを選択して、オプションの変更

「ADO および RDS」のチェックを外します。

この状態でインストール最後まで問題なくいくかと思います。

上記２つをインストールします。VB6SP6は公式からなくなっていたので、web.archive.orgからダウンロードしました。SP6は、ファイル名が「Vs6sp6B.exe」のものでないと、うまくインストールできないと思います。

インストールするファイルで上書きしないで、元のファイルを残すようにインストールしてください。

VB6 初回起動

VB6の初回起動時だけ、管理者として実行してください。そうしないと、起動時に、「OLE error」になります。

VB6SP6になってますね。

Microsoft Java VMの削除

上記を参考に、手動で削除します。

1.コマンドプロンプトから「RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection java.inf,UnInstall」を実行
2.ファイルの削除
〇 c:\windows\java
　 c:\windows\inf\java.pnf
　 c:\windows\system32\jview.exe
　 c:\windows\system32\wjview.exe
3.レジストリの削除
　 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Java VM
〇 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\JAVA_VM

ファイルとレジストリは、〇がついたものしかなかったです。
